Well, some of the BCS is now settled:

ACC: Who knows! It looks like Boston College vs. Virginia Tech
Big East: Cincinnati looks like they'll be the champ
Big Ten Champion: Penn State (Rose)
Big 12: Oklahoma vs. Missouri (i.e., Oklahoma)...assuming the Sooners can hold a 42-7 halftime lead
Pac-10: Oregon State or USC (the Beavers go to the Rose Bowl if they beat Oregon in Corvallis next week)
SEC: Winner of Alabama and Florida

Already Clinched a BCS Spot: Utah
Likely to Clinch next week: Boise State (they host Fresno State)
Possibly Getting in, too: Ball State. The Cardinals host Western Michigan next week, and then will play in the MAC championship game (likely against Buffalo). If they win both, and are ranked 16th or higher in the BCS standings, and there's an automatic entry who is ranked lower (quite possible: see Cincinnati, Boston College, and Virginia Tech) they get an automatic entry

So there will be just one or two other teams getting in. If Alabama beats Florida, Florida won't get in. But assume that it's a close game, and Florida wins; then the Sugar Bowl will undoubtedly take Alabama as the replacement.

Then there's Texas and Texas Tech. You'll note that I put Oklahoma into the Big 12 championship game. That's because in a 3-way tie (Oklahoma lost to Texas; Texas lost to Texas Tech; Texas Tech is being killed by Oklahoma) the fifth tie-breaker is the team that's ranked higher in the BCS standings. I think that will be Oklahoma. There will be lots of pressure to take Texas.

USC has to hope that Oregon beats Oregon State next week because otherwise I think they'll be on the outside looking in.

We could also have some truly lousy bowl matchups. The BCS championship game figures to be good (FL vs. OK). But assuming Oregon State wins out, consider:

Rose: Penn State vs. Oregon State. They met in September in State College, and Penn State won in a rout.

Sugar: Alabama vs. Utah*

Orange: BC/VT vs. Ball State/Texas

Fiesta: Cincinnati vs. Boise State*

Since both the Sugar and Fiesta Bowls would lose a team, it really matters who picks first. Those picks assume that the Sugar picks first. If they don't, then I think the picks would be:

Fiesta: Texas vs. Boise State

Sugar: Cincinnati/Alabama vs. Utah

Orange: BC/VT vs. Ball State/Cincinnati

I watched the end of the Blackhawks vs. Toronto game tonight (it was on the NHL Network). I saw that in Canada you can have signage for PokerStars (not the dot net version). Boy, the Blackhawks have some speed.
