The Hawaii Reporter published this hilarious political cartoon--a satire of the Native Hawaiian secession movement. But for an agency in the state of Hawaii it's like the Mohammad cartoons: The cartoon must be removed immediately! Haunani Apoliona, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, told the Reporter, "This cartoon is an openly racial slur, a display of a “small mind.”...This cartoon is merely a racist piece of propaganda. OHA and all those raised in Hawaii don’t find it funny at all. The cartoon should be pulled and the secret author publicly identified."

For the benefit of Ms. Apoliona all you have done by writing this letter is change the publicity from a local event to one that is now national in scope. The cartoon appeared in at least two blogs that I saw today, and it will get more publicity. Had it been ignored it would have already faded from the limelight....

Who is the most liberal senator in the Senate? It's Barack Obama. That's one reason why Barack is for change but not for specifics and why his voting record is mentioned rarely. If he's the nominee (I don't think that will be the case, though) he'll have to show some specifics.

I watched tonight's Democratic debate and Billary was clearly the better performer imho. Of course, I don't vote in the Democratic primary.
