I was quoted in Bill Rini's blog...maybe. In this post, Bill Rini notes, "Last week I wrote a post about how I believed the 888 and Party discussions with the USAO to be a positive thing for the long-term outlook on poker. Poker author, sometimes Murder’s Row guest, and noted pessimist , Rick Fox, disagrees."

Whew, even though Bill links to my blog, he couldn't have been talking about me! I'll have to find Rick's blog (though I'm not an NBA fan). (My name is Russ.)

Seriously, though, the big deal about Party & 888 talking with the DOJ is the movement of paper. The DOJ (and law enforcement in general) needs absolute facts to get warrants in front of a judge. Signed statements from Party & 888 will do the trick. And the check processors are the big deal, not epassporte.

Well, poker went poorly but video crack went quite well. I joined Fich for dinner at the Cannery, but not before hitting quad deuces on fpdw, and that more than made up for the loss.

Time to go downstairs and learn the latest and greatest in tax...
